Trees Of Winter Challenge

What is the Trees of Winter Challenge?
A challenge here is to create something based on the theme, the theme here being Trees of Winter.
Trees of Winter and is point of departure, the inspiration that fuels the creation.

This challenge is open to all artists! 
Stay tuned for a viewing and voting of the entries!

Challenge Instructions~
• Create an object or piece of art that expresses the theme of Trees of Winter. This must me a newly created piece.
• Take pictures and upload to your shop, blog, online photo album, a Facebook page, your website, etc. Be sure to tell your story about the piece, the process and it's meaning to you or what ever you would like to say about the piece.
• Items must be submitted by February 12, 2015 at 12:00 am GMT - Submit by emailing a link to paganstreehouse@gmail.com.
• Items will be featured on the PAGAN blog beginning on Feb. 21, 2015 and will be open for voting • Items will be featured on the PAGAN blog beginning on Feb. 21, 2015 and will be open for 'people's choice' voting until March 18, 2014. ~Be sure to spread the word and get your friends to vote!
Winning artist will be given a featured spot in a Tree House live auction.

Emerging From Dormancy

It has been a long time, it seemed like all at once, everyone who was at the roots of the Tree House got handed a full plate of life in general. So the Tree went dormant for a bit. But it is now slowly growing back.
We still have the same six crafty pagans with their goods in the Marketplace, but we have added some new people and their stuff; OceanDreams, HowlingCaterpillars, and MysticalCrystal.
We have also begun hosting LIVE auctions. Our upcoming event is In Honor of the Tree.

We have joined forces with a new leaf of an older group, MAC, Magickal Arts Coalition. And of course, many of us, from MAC and the Tree House have been long time members of Pagan Team on Etsy.

The mission is the same at it's roots, to create a comfortable and relaxing place in cyber space as well as offer a home base to all kinds of pagan's and their endeavors as long as it is positive and productive. While we are pagan focused, we welcome anyone to join us and stay with us as long as they remain positive and drama free.

One of the outlets we have created is a place for people to sell their handcrafted good and metaphysical/spiritual services for no fee. That is our marketplace. While we do not charge money to sell, there is an exchange of another kind required. The Marketplace is like a shared gallery. Everyone who has stuff in the gallery works to promote the gallery, they will even scrub toilets. The Tree House has no toilets so no worries there. But, running an artisans co-op takes work and this is where all those in the Guild join together and get things done.
~ As the saying goes, many hands makes light work.

And, as another saying goes; Good Help Is Hard To Find..... Indeed it is! We have a wonderful crew sitting at the roots of the Tree, but we are few and are looking for more.
